DAIRY TODAY, with its award-winning editorial content, is a trusted source of dairy information for its subscriber base of U.S. dairy producers. It is part of Farm Journal Media’s family of agricultural publications, including FARM JOURNAL, TOP PRODUCER, and BEEF TODAY.
DAIRY TODAY began as a livestock dairy insert, Dairy Extra, in FARM JOURNAL in the mid 1960s. In 1985, it became a stand-alone publication. Today, it is published for medium and large dairy farms, focusing on dairy trends, production, management, markets and policy.
DAIRY TODAY’S editorial offices are based in Monticello, Minn., and Bakersfield, Calif. The magazine’s editorial staff also works with freelance dairy writers located throughout the country and with freelancers in Europe and New Zealand. Its contributing editors are some of the leading dairy experts from across the United States, both at universities and in private practice.
DAIRY TODAY received the prestigious James Flanagan Award for Most Improved Publication from the Livestock Publications Council in 2006, and has amassed more than 100 writing, photography and design awards over its 23-year history.
