Tim glad to hear you're making progress. Make sure you program the coordiates of that short fencepost into your auto steer.

My custom guy is getting closer. Found him in a bean field about 3 miles from here. Judging by the weather it will be at least two weeks before he works his way up here. Forgot to ask him how the yields were so far.

Neighbor says his first two fields ran over 50 on similar soil to mine. I'm still not that optomistic.

Looks like were in for three days of showers. Maybe it'll get soft enough to pull that post out by hand. :)

Be safe.

Bruce

Weather continues to be overcast and sometimes rainy. I'm glad with the decision to harvest my beans at a higher moisture. The hit for 14% moisture ain't as bad as the field losses will be when area fields finally are fit to harvest.

Dollar continues its plunge so take advantage of these markets while you can.

Been going on soys. Got 3 inches of rain this last week and five inches of snow so far tonight. Heavy wet snow looks like it broke all the corn tops and leaves down.

Beans are doing really well considering we had no fricking rain all summer. Our best dryland quarter so far is 56 and best irrigated quarter is 74. Hope we don't have too many sh---y fields to pull the average down. Or a big 0 on everything left because the snow is to f-----g deep!!! We have about 4 days of beans left, looks like it'll take a month.

Go Bison!

Ken
You have rain? It is all in how you look at it. Gosh, we just got little glittering droplets from the sky. It makes the soil soft as ever. Afterall, who wants to run a combine over HARD dirt?

Life is good!
